
Sam is the founder and director of Mindworks and Liverpool, Wirral, Chester & Southport Counselling Association.
For over 25 years, Sam has worked in the counselling field and along the way has completed 10 years of studying within her field. She now holds a Counselling Diploma, Degree in Psychology & Masters in Psychology. She is a qualified Supervisor and separately holds a certificate in Counselling Children and is also qualified in Hypnotherapy.
Over the years Sam has worked with adults, children and couples.
Sam helps people to deal with issues such as anxiety, depression, stress, anger, relationship issues, grief, PTSD. Recently she spends the majority of her time working in the field of Addictions, considering herself highly specialised in this area. She supports individuals whether they want to achieve abstinence or after they have been down their own route of help within Private/NHS addiction clinics to make sure they stay abstinent.
Addiction is a primary area Sam is very passionate about. Supporting individuals along the journey and to work with them to recover in the long term, many of her clients attend sessions to support and maintain abstinence after leaving rehabilitation.
Besides addiction Sam also helps look into Abuse, Anxiety, Anger, Couples Therapy, Depression, OCD, Self-harm, Stress and Suicidal Behaviour.
