Sue is a registered counsellor with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and a professional member of The Association of Counselling and Therapy Online (ACTO.)
She works with a wide range of issues, including common mental health conditions such as depression and anxiety.
Sue works closely with people to help them understand their current and past experiences and find a healthier way forward for themselves. Through my counselling within schools and also through a career in teaching and coaching, she has a vast experience of working with young people aged 11-18 years.
Previously, Sue has also worked for a charity supporting people with life limiting illness, loss and bereavement.
Counselling can help process foster growth and lead to positive change in your life and Sue uses a range of approaches to counselling including CBT, person centred, transactional analysis and psychodynamic theories. It also creates an opportunity for empowerment. In a counselling relationship, hope is always held open so that you can design and create your own recovery route.
Sue can offer face-to-face, walking, or online counselling in the form of telephone, email, IM or webcam video call such as Zoom or Microsoft Teams.
